Exciting News!!!

Did the title grab your attention? I hope so. Yes, I have some author news, but bear with me a moment or two.

Do you like receiving newsletters from your favorite authors? I do. Yes, believe it or not I subscribe to several authors. Why? Because I want to be in the know, and receiving a newsletter from my favorite authors is one of the best ways to be in the know about their upcoming releases as well as little tidbits the choose to share with us.

Years and years ago, when I first began reading fiction, I didn’t even have a computer at home. I’m not sure the Internet was even widely available at the time, so I’d go to the library and search the shelves and the catalogs for all the books I could find by a particular author, most likely Victoria Alexander, Lisa Kleypas, Julia Quinn, and Eloisa James. They were my favorites and go-tos.

Then the Internet came along, and I was able to search the World Wide Web for my favorite authors’ names. Imagine my surprise when I discovered my library didn’t always have all the books by my favorite authors. Even better, were all the little extras the authors shared about their personal lives. Being a fan, I was in awe.

Now, I’m not sure how exciting my life is. After all, I’m not a bestselling author… Oh wait, I am a Publisher Weekly’s bestselling author and two months in a row, but still, when I look at my life, sometimes I don’t think it’s that interesting. It’s not like I flew around the world like Amelia Earhart.

But I have done some other pretty amazing things that I never thought I’d do, not to mention I’m an author. I make stories up for a living, well, not exactly for a living, because I’m still honored to have a day job, but I do get to make up stories, and hearing news about upcoming releases from my favorite authors is one of the biggest reasons I subscribe to their newsletters.

Wouldn’t you like to know information about the next book in a series, or how characters were created? What about things like how I spent my Thanksgiving, or my research finds? What about my favorite recipe, or cute photos of my kitty cats? No, well how about those cuts? You know, scenes that didn’t make the book? Short novellas about supporting characters? The first to hear about book contracts, see the covers and be a part of the review team by receiving free books?

Now for my exciting news, I have a newsletter!! The Happily Ever After. It’s where you can be in the know, and where I’ll share all those juicy bits before I share them publicly. And trust me, news should be coming along in the next few months that you will not want to miss.

When you subscribe, you’ll have an exclusive access to cut scenes, author interviews, book reviews, my entertainment picks, favorite recipes, and a look into my life outside of writing.
